A Night to Remember: Celebrating Growth, Community, and What’s Ahead

Our recent Boots & Bling Gala was truly a night to remember! We gathered together to celebrate not only an evening of fun, but the incredible milestones Camp Fire Illinois Prairie has achieved over the past year—and what a year it has been.

One of the highlights of the night was reflecting on the growth of our programs, especially the excitement surrounding our Wheaton club. This amazing group has been diving into hands-on activities, building friendships, and creating meaningful experiences together. Even more exciting, we have several new clubs beginning to take shape throughout the surrounding suburbs, allowing us to expand our reach and bring Camp Fire to even more youth in our community.

We were also honored to celebrate a special milestone—Camp Fire Illinois Prairie’s 20 years as a member of the Bolingbrook Chamber. Being recognized for two decades of community involvement and impact was a proud and meaningful moment for all of us.

The evening itself was filled with energy and joy. From games and line dancing to time spent mingling with friends old and new, the room was full of laughter and connection. Our silent and live auctions were a great success, with so many generous supporters stepping up to help further our mission.

Most importantly, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and supported this event. Your presence and generosity make everything we do possible.

As we look ahead, we are filled with excitement for what’s to come. We have big plans for expanding our day programming at camp, along with continued growth for our clubs and local groups that are just beginning to flourish. The future of Camp Fire Illinois Prairie is bright, and we can’t wait to see the impact we’ll make together.
