Winter Reading Challenge: Cozy Up With a Good Book!

While the days are shorter and the air is colder, winter is the perfect time to slow down, snuggle up, and get lost in a good book. This season, we’re excited to invite our Camp Fire families to take part in our Winter Reading Challenge!

The goal is simple: encourage kids and families to make reading a fun and meaningful part of their winter routine. Whether it’s reading by the fireplace, under a blanket with a flashlight, or sharing a favorite story together, every page turned is an adventure of its own.

Our Winter Reading Challenge is designed to inspire curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning—all while embracing the cozy moments winter brings. Participants can explore new genres, revisit old favorites, and even discover stories that spark creativity and conversation.

We can’t wait to see how our Camp Fire families bring reading to life this winter. Be sure to track your progress, celebrate milestones, and most importantly—enjoy the journey. Children who are part of a club can turn in their completed challenge and earn a winter challenge emblem.
